Call from the mothership
My mom called me yesterday to discuss three different things, all of which entertained me.
1. This is in Columbia, SC. A week ago my mom woke up in the middle of the night due to very loud odd noises outside. She got scared and woke up my uncle and woke up my brother because she thought the US might be under military attack. The power was out, the phone lines were dead, weird lights were flashing in the sky but it was cloudy so difficult to make anything out, and this loud repetitve WAAAAHHHHMMMMMM WAAAAAAHMMMMMM noise kept repeating. All three ended up sitting up all night on the porch watching whatever phenomenon this was. It eventually faded out and stopped. The next morning the power was back on the phone lines were working, so she called the police to find out what happened. Their explanation was that a breaker box exploded ... which she didn't believe that would cause what she experienced. So moma then called MUFON and described her "UFO sighting." They got really excited because someone else 2hrs away from my mom had called in with an almost identical sighting. So MUFON scheduled an appointment with my mom to come interview them and investigate the area. This past weekend they came out to her house and videotaped 3 separate interviews with my mom, uncle, and brother to get their side of the story. They agreed with my mom that it didn't sound like a breaker box explosion .. and they told her about the man 2 hours away. It wasn't cloudy where he was, he described the same lights and sounds, but he actually saw a black triangular craft. He went and got a really bright light ..my mom said a deer light? When he shined the light on the craft it zapped him, and now he's really sick and has radiation posion. I don't really know what to make of all this.
2. Moma went to the dentist Sunday to get a root canal on an infected tooth. While she was there, she convinced the receptionist to knock $40 off of her bill by agreeing to come back on Thursday dressed as the Grim Reaper to deliver a birthday cake to the dentist. Steven works a second job at Halloween Express .. a costume shop .. so he can hook her up with this. I want to see pictures of this event.

I was amused to hear moma talk about my brother ... she was saying that she was really surprised about how good looking he's turned out compared to when he was a teenager, and she wants him to go to the tanning bed and get highlights in his hair. She also described how he had to dress up as Herculese at work and stand on the side of the road waving and flexing at people .. hot girls kept stopping at the red light and getting out of the car to have their picture made with him. He also got a few phone numbers. When he got home he was sunburned with random white lines on his arms and forehead where the bands of the costume was.
