The trip was, as expected, long - cutting through Canada would have made it more round-about, but only slightly. Had nice chats with various doctors about all sorts of things, med school, lens implants, and cinnamon buns v. banana nut muffins being prominent. How very odd; the computer lab smells of insulin today. It's insanely warm, probably about seventy-five or so outside and more like eight-five in here, and although one would expect a closed-up computer lab to smell of any number of other things, very few pleasant, this computer lab reeks of insulin.
