almost time to get Mad

Sep 27, 2009 21:10

I am so tired it's amazing. I thought I'd gotten some sleep this weekend, but my body seems to think otherwise. Not sure what I can do about it; just hit the hay as soon as Mad Men is over and sleep until I'm not allowed to anymore.

This was a good weekend full of enjoyment and old friends, long walks in the sunset and a pleasant amount of excess in everything (except sleep, apparently). I got several hours of work done on the next big work project (I'm about 1/6th of the way done with the whole thing... so my estimate of 24 hours total may be about right). I got some more books from the library, and have another one to pick up (joy joy, the Lethem-penned Omega the Unknown). Watched most of NIGHTMARE ALLEY, which I own and love. Had some great conversations, met new people, and liked them.

Now... it actually hurts to type. I wish I could have a whole day of sleep.

Heroes tomorrow! I can't believe we get MORE! I hope they don't kill off Ray Parks's character too soon, because I'm fairly seriously attatched to him. Already. I'm sure I'm building him up in my mind more than he deserves, but his mohawk and puppy-dog eyes are just so adorable. I wish I'd been able to rewatch last week's episode one more time - maybe if I'm an errand-running monster tomorrow, I can sneak it in before 8pm. Here's hoping...

work, movies, fatigue, end of the weekend, mad men, heroes, tv
