another rough health day
I'm in a good mood, though, which probably helps - if I wasn't, I'd be a total wreck right now... These cramps are totally out of hand. I've been in agony most of the day. It's finally starting to back off a bit, for which I am extremely thankful. Just in time for Dollhouse!
I will actually have a 'relaxing' weekend - my first actual weekend where I didn't have to either get up early, write a grueling wovel chapter, or both. Perhaps there will be some thrifting, but that's optional. (I canceled my massage appointment for tomorrow. I just can't guarantee that I'll be in any shape to get over to Hawthorne tomorrow morning.) I really do just want to putter around the apartment, eating rice cakes, reading books, watching movies, napping, mild exercise, reading fanfiction.
I am thinking toward my birthday party. It's on Saturday this year. If the weather's good, it could be an excellent BBQ shindig. Last year's was pretty damn good and everyone had a blast, nothing got broken, everyone was fed and watered, and new friends were made. You know - one of those life-affirming things that birthdays damn well should be.
Time to heat up my gel pack again... it's helping.
