Hey, got plans on Sunday night?
You do now.
Come on down to the Powell's City of Books (downtown Portland) and listen while I read some selection or other from that
"wovel" you might have heard about. Also appearing is fellow Underland Press author Brian Evenson, who will be reading from and shilling his book Last Days, which is unbelievably freaky and troubling, and should appeal to fans of horror, isolation, zombies, dismemberment, and mysterious hot plates.
Brian Evenson may have books to sell; I don't know about the availability of any of my books at this reading, as they can be quite thin on the ground these days.
Worth checking out, I reckon. I haven't done a reading in so long I can't even remember the last time I did one, I will likely be completely exhausted and/or drunk, and as of today, I don't know what I'll be reading. I am committed, though, to providing the best performance, and the most high-quality aesthetic experience, of which I am capable.
