For a minute there last night, it was like my life had turned into Sex & the City. I'd have never thunk it... but imagine four women friends in their early 30s sitting around a table in a gay piano bar, toasting each other with champagne. We sat around and talked about moisturizers and cleansers, for God's sake.
How did my life become a TV show that I don't like? ... oh well, it's a fun life to have for an evening, anyway.
So yeah, I did Alex James proud last night. At this point even the thought of drinking makes me shudder, but of course I'm supposed to go drink tonight, so hopefully I'll recover enough to want a glass of wine by 6pm. I usually do. Maybe I can burn myself out on champagne; this weekend will be the test.
And now I'm back at work, trying not to make any sudden moves, hoping my coffee and muffin stay in my stomach where they belong, and hoping that my swiss-cheese brain works good enough to at least read comics. What I'd really like to be doing is lying on my couch smoking a bowl and watching Mohinder sleep on Heroes, but I guess I'd rather be doing that at any given point on any given day.
I should make it into a T-shirt: I'D RATHER BE WATCHING HEROES
Is it bad that I want to get an HD TV and HD-DVD player, just so that I can watch the Heroes HD-DVD release? With the feature that you can select a character, and watch just their scenes? It's like the fanfic writer's nirvana. Imagine being able to sit down and just watch nothing but Claude. (It'd be brief - I think it would be less than an hour total. But still... or have a night of all Sylar... I'd like to have an all-Petrellis option...)
geekery,
tv,
where the hell were you last night?
