I haven't had that dish before. I tend to get the tofu and peas dish.

Uni is only edible if it's extreamly fresh. By definition most places are not fresh :)

Martsa Menu It was the Tofu with Mushrooms in Mango sauce if I'm not mistaken.

I've heard sea urchin's taste and texture described as "meaty jello." What do you think ... accurate?

No, not really. Aspic is meaty jello, and urchin isn't at all like that. The urchin was fish-ish flavoured, and the texture was kind of like an overripe banana.
