St. Patty's Day
Happy St. Patrick’s Day!! [I know it's not St. Patrick's Day anymore, I wrote this post Tuesday, but had to upload the photos to post it ;)]
We had my brothers over on Saturday to celebrate!
I put green food coloring in the toilet water (my mom used to do this when we were kids and say the leprechaun came & peed in the toilet). I also sprinkled shamrock confetti on the floor and around the sink. Eric thought it was awesome :) I was happy!
I bought green snacks
Stuff for Irish Car Bombs
And made a feast of corn beef, cabbage, steamed carrots, roasted red potatoes & Irish Soda Bread

I played Flogging Molly all night on the radio & made Grasshopper Parfaits for dessert
I also surprised Claighton & my brother’s with a little scavenger hunt! I hid $30 worth of lotto tickets around the house and gave them each this letter:
And sent them on their way around the house to find their lotto tickets! It was a lot of fun!! We played rock band into the late hours of the night. Claighton & I both fell asleep on the couch WHILE we were playing, haha - we’re getting so old. In my defense though, it was 3:00am. Eric decided to head home that night, which was a bummer. I made a HUGE breakfast Sunday morning! I made cinnamon rolls, French toast, bacon, scrambled eggs & OJ…..
What a great time!! Last night, around 8:45pm, Alex called. Him and Dad were at the store & asked if we wanted to come over for corn beef tonight. So, that’s what we’re doing. This day will never end, I think!! I still need to rush home, shower, and get up to Lincoln.
