New season spiders.
This guy spun a beautiful web out the side of our house. A few hours later, by the time I got back to take a photo, I reckon a possom had walked through and ruined it, cause he was rebuilding it, it had been totally ruined!
It was fun to watch him go from one end to the other spinning it again though. I can't believe how methodical they are about it... and fast!
I think this guy is a Wolf Spider, but I have to look him up in my book. I've never seen one of these before, but he looks not dissimilar to a Huntsman, just a bit smaller and not as flat, which fits the description.
I think I'll try to take some more photos tomorrow once the web is rebuilt.
