VAJRA PRIDE

Mar 30, 2008 17:51

Vajra, or indestructible, pride is the sense that basic sanity does existin our state of being, so we don't particularly have to try to work itout logically. We don't have to prove that something is happening or nothappening. The basic dissatisfaction that causes us to look for somespiritual understanding is an expression of vajra pride: we are notwilling to submit to the suppression of our confusion. We are willing tostick our necks out. That seems to be a first expression of thevajra-pride instinct -- and we can go on from there!

This really makes sense to me right now..
