My mom and i couldn't believe it when i opened the msn homepage window and saw the story about Michael Jackson's death. It's too surreal. 50 is too young an age at which to die, with still so much to straighten out and with so many people loving you, and with a planned concert tour for fans... and generally for such a musical legend and icon. just the other day (wednesday in fact) i heard 'Black or White' on Golden 90FM while at work. i think Michael Jackson did more to revolutionize music than anyone else, except the Beatles. And at a time when it finally seemed like he was setting his train back on its track and gearing himself up to prove to the world that he still had it, with the planned tours and the 'bigger and better than ever' promises, his death is even more shocking. Michael Jackson was always this bigger than life presence to me, even though i don't consider myself his greatest fan, I am finding myself short of words to say. I await more information on what happened.
Rest In Peace, Michael.
