It had been far from how Kyuhyun wanted to spend his day off. The half hour or so he got every day to game hadn't been enough to get anything really done. But Zhou Mi asked and smiled. It wasn't like he couldn't have fun with him or simply take pleasure in watching Zhou Mi have fun, but he knew Zhou Mi had a ridiculous amount of endurance when it came to this sort of thing. But he smiled and that had been enough to keep Kyuhyun from refusing the invitation to shop. They had only been out for three hours, but Kyuhyun was already feeling exhausted. Zhou Mi, on the other hand, showed no sign of slowing down. Every time Kyuhyun started to lag behind, he slowed his pace until he could nudge Kyuhyun to keep up.
Kyuhyun didn't know how he did it. He was browsing five times as much and seemed like they had just started. But that was just how things were. Zhou Mi was always full of energy, always smiling, and encouraging everyone else along.
"I think it'd look good on you," Zhou Mi observed as Kyuhyun snapped out of his trance. He realized then that he was holding both of their bags as Zhou Mi held up a shirt to Kyuhyun. Zhou Mi tilted his head as he gave the fabric a small tug. "Go try it on." Wordlessly, Kyuhyun took the hanger from Zhou Mi as he insisted just a little more in exchange for the bags. He began trekking towards the fitting rooms when it occurred to him that Zhou Mi had picked a lot of clothes for him, but he hadn't picked anything for him. Kyuhyun hesitated for a moment and glanced back at Zhou Mi. He was already busy with yet another rack of clothes. Kyuhyun scoured the store until finally a top caught his eye. He hurried over to it as though someone else had the same thought and quickly brought it over to Zhou Mi.
"That was fast," Zhou Mi said.
"No, I haven't gone yet. I thought this would look good on you," Kyuhyun said, holding out the top. Zhou Mi looked at the top and drew in a quick breath to hold back his grimace. Zhou Mi simply nodded and quickly took it from him, tucking it under his arm where he wouldn't have to look at it. Kyuhyun wasn’t leaving. "Don't you think you should try it on?" Zhou Mi almost said no, but Kyuhyun asked and smiled.
