The Forbidden Fortress: Last Princess panel and screening were interesting. The movie was okay. I enjoyed it but it's pretty much like a lot of other "poor-man-saves-princess" films. The panel was frustrating because no one asked any good questions and no one actually answered any of the questions. It didn't help that the translators were crap

Some comments on anime:
I guess I'm in the same boat as you with that 10 people in the world who like Sakura. Sure in the beginning she's annoying and self-centered, but she matures you guys! Ino is a PIMP♥.
I ♥ed prince of tennis too. (Haha PoT.)
HOMG please give Deathnote another chance. It's one of my favorites. It's themes and undertones are so mature and thought-provoking. It asks some really hard questions that one has difficulty with answering. Who's to judge who lives or dies? You? Me? God? What if we were god? Than what?
Please give it another chance. It's one of my favorites. If the anime scares you, the manga is so much better. I'm not done, but the first season in the manga is phenomenal. (The live action movie is good too, it takes a different turn than the manga and anime do.) 8)

I feel the same about Sailor Moon. I started to rewatch it from the beginning and got to like...the Super season?? And then I dabbled into the Super S season. Yah...I need to finish. It's the anime that started it all for me, no lie♥. I will always have a special place in my heart for it. =)

Aw for serious! Sakura grew on me so much. I dunno if this is creepy haha but it almost feels like she's one of my friends and everyone else doesn't like her but I do. xD;
Ah Death Note... D: I remember reading the one-shot and liking it. It's mostly the fandom that scares me, but that's a pretty bad reason to not like something. I think I'm almost about 50% decided to try the manga. xD; And then perhaps the anime. I think I might have dropped the anime only 'cause I was watching a lot of other series at the same time.
Aiiii Tamaki is my fav too~ :D I kinda get tired of how the mangaka pimps Haruhi around though.
Omg Pretear is freakin' shoujo anime DONE RIGHT. :D Hayate is so hot and Himeno is so likeable! Also the other knights are so cute and actually have some development. I think the manga isn't as good.

I actually think Naruto is better than Bleach haha. Honestly, you're not missing out on THAT much. This is just my bias speaking, though, 'cause I hate the main character with a burning passion.
You could read the Pretear manga. It's cute and the ending is slightly different, but I don't think it's as effective as the anime. It's a lot shorter. Kei doesn't look as gay though lol. xD
OMG NOO I don't sign crap haha. I was thinking of getting an artist table someday but those are freakin' difficult to get. But hang out? SURE. :D I need another Zutara fan around me. D: My other Avatar fan friend is a Maiko fan ugh.
