You know what sucks? Getting laid off the job at which you have been working for less than a week. That's SUPER COOL. This means I will be looking for another job, again. What's new. Dracula opens next Thursday, so this week is hell week. Tech starts tomorrow and does not end until Monday, and then dress rehearsals are there too. My body hurts. After Dracula, there's a two week break before both the Northwest Dance Center show and the University Dance show open (on the SAME WEEKEND); I'm performing in both of them. The Gerschwin Revue opened on Friday, and I and three other dancers performed in it at the sides of the vocal performers. The show is quite entertaining, seeing both the difference between the "jazz combo" that the singers do and the actual dancing that we dancers perform, and the distinction between performers and singers. I was at dance rehearsal, where I and my partner for a pas de deux routine had to stay after everyone else had left to learn the partnering pieces.
