How low can I go...
It pretty funny how you think you know something and then all of a sudden it does something crazy on you and it changes it to something else. Well, I thought I knew my voice as good as anything, but apparently I was wrong. It now appears that after singing for three years as a tenor, my voice did something crazy this summer and I turned into a bass. Notes that used to be well in my range now seem kinda high and notes that once seemed impossibly low are now incredibly easy. So when I first found out I was kinda like dumbfounded, I didn't really believe it, nor did I think I wanted to believe, having grown so accustom with the idea of being a tenor. But now it's kinda exciting, because I've been given a whole new instrument, not that I know how to correctly play it yet, but it's exciting none the less. Except now, I have to learn all my choir music over again and try to figure out how everything fits together. I wonder how much lower I'll be able to go?? Hmmm... Well anyhow sorry to bore you with my vocal adventures, but I just felt like telling someone. In addition, everything else is going really well too. My parents are coming down on Saturday for the football game, oh yeah, and I saw Jenny today for the first time, crazy huh! She was like, "So you do really go here?" Yeah sorry I haven't really seen you other central folk around here yet, i've been busy, but we should hang out soon. Well, I hope everyone's semester are going well! Good Luck!
