Had a bad day yesterday but then again everyone was having a bad day
But so far today has made up for it so im going to blame my mood on the weather.
I've getting IS work done by leaps and bounds.
Greatest accomplishment of the day was the expansion of a fourth order Runge-Kutta ODE solver into three dimensions. Dr. Byrnes wasn't kidding when she said this method was fast, it puts my earlier matrix code to shame. Not only that but if done correctly it also accounts the necessary change in rotation, eliminating about half the calculations I need.
If your wondering whats so significant about this, let me clarify. Runge-Kutta = ordinary differential equations (eg. higher levels of calculus than I've ever had to deal with). Everything from this point on requires little more than basic algebra.
The only downside is that I am supposed to have a significant portion of my theory section written by next Tuesday. The English language and I don't really get along. I wouldn't even call it a love hate relationship, it's just downright abusive.
