So today...started with waking up early....
then we decided we wanted pizza, but it wasn't open till eleven and it was only ten so then.
We went for food. We figured we would go to Jonathan's, but then were walking and found this ra-men shop, so we had ra-men. First time in two years I've had real tonkotsu. I don't care if the broth is made of ground pork bone, it's the best soup ever.
Then we stopped at the conbini for cans of deliciousness and ice cream...
nevermind that it's not even noon and we're drinking...but only one can each!
And we have to get on a train in an hour or so...there is a show tonight in Niigata, which is about two hours on the shinkansen, and I think we're going unreserved, so ...I have no idea how that works but it's cheaper for Maura.
Niigata Junk Box Mini is supposed to have a capacity of 150 people, which I probably mentioned somewhere...it's gonna be...pretty tiny. Looking forward to it.
