Gosh US Airways sucks. Not that there aren't other sucky air carriers but wow, US Airways manages to be so bad in so many new, exciting ways.
Take for instance:
At our gate in Newark, they said they were gonna board us quickly using the numbered "Zone" system (because "Boading rows 18-24" is apparently beyond the capacity of today's average air traveler). And they even called for Zone 1 only, but all zones immediately queued up. Why? Because the gate next to ours loudly announced "boarding all rows", and people got confused.
Did the gate attendants turn away the non-Zone-1-ers? Did they quickly repeat the call for only Zone 1? Or did they just shrug their shoulders and let passengers board willy-nilly? What do *you* think?
Comparatively, the 45 minutes of my life that I lost because one of the flight attendants didn't show, that was nothing.
O' US Airways, thy name is sucky!
