Isn't that what you do with astral anyway? Just absorb it and live? Like some kind of Demonic Plant?

...Huh. I never thought of it that way. I guess that's sort of true. But I do still need to eat and sleep. I can just last longer without food if I conserve my energy.

I slept that whole time! so that conserved my astral and my legion did...um. Well enough. If I eat it helps give me more energy and puts less strain on my legion.
