Hey guys, can any of you drop by the bakery on the 30th or so to help me with something? We've gotten our first order and...it's a bit of a doozy. We need to make a birthday cake big enough to have 529 candles on top. I've already sketched out some designs for it, and I think I've got most of it down okay--I'm keeping the design fairly simple since it's going to be cluttered enough with the candles--but I probably could use an extra pair of hands or two to help me get it ready. Don't worry too much about it since I know we haven't really officially opened and worked out schedules or anything yet, but I'd really appreciate the help if you could.
Also, in celebration of our first order, Lilith is buying us all dinner on the 1st! It'll be a way for us to celebrate and all get on the same page with the bakery. I think I'll have most of the bakery itself finished and ready to open soon after then, too, so...I'll probably be hiring a few new people and getting ready to open sometime in early August.
