Update on... stuff
Soooo. I forgot to update again. But I remembered now... and so... here is an update. What the hell am I even saying?
New music (or music I just got around to listening to):
D'espairsRay Love is Dead: 9/10, freaking catchy and it makes my happy. Also very good to listen to while I play video games. Fast-paced catchy music makes shooting people that much more melodic. B-sides are pretty good. Wedicine also makes good gaming music. I still miss B-sides like Bullet, though. Damn that's a good song.
ClearVeil White Satin: 7/10, sad this band is disbanding. Awake was by far my favorite of their 3 single release thing, but this is also very good. I'll miss Saki's voice. The lyrics are alawys very touching, so I did enjoy that. I'm really bummed they are disbanding just as they start to make music I really enjoy. :|
lynch. A Gleam in Eye: 7/10, very lynch.-y but not like OMG AMAZING to me. Enjoyable to listen to but not really memorable. Needs more cool bass riffs. I don't actually remember much else lawlz.
Art Cube 花陽影 ~Petal~: 8/10, actually really good. Better than their last release, for sure. The second track was apparently arranged by KALM, which is pretty badass. And I'll always like Seiji's voice. The PV is lulz though.
The LEGENDARY SIX NINE Cruel: 9/10, another surprisingly good release. I was iffy about these guys getting together but I should have had more faith cos damn, some good music there. And the cover of Nightmare's DIRTY is awesome.
-Oz- viridian: 8/10, not as good as wisteria. They still haven't topped VERSUS, but they do seem to consistently release good material. The vocals seem weaker and more... all over the place in this release, which turns me off. I hope singer guy (I don't know his name haha) gets it together or he'll go the way of UnsraW dude.
VII-Sense Black Bird: 6/10, definitely better than Juka's other projects. The instrumental track is actually pretty nice, and the vocal tracks show Juka's growth in singing ability. I hate the stupid falsetto though, and the production value leaves some to be desired. Will keep an eye on them.
SOoOOo that's music for right now. Moving on to... clothes.
Baby (well, AatP) finally came out with their Beauty and the Rose Promise skirt that I originally had wanted... however... it's fugly as hell. The blue is nothing like I thought it would be, and the stupid taffeta material makes it look far too costume-y. Definitely glad I didn't reserve it. Will be sticking to Moitie/BPN for now.
Probably going to grab some new blouses from BPN pretty soon, and possibly a Moitie one. Still considering. Won't link pics until I have something in my hands.
In belated news, I went out all gothed up a couple Saturdays ago. Minor picspam under cut for anyone who cares to see.

So there we have it. I would have liked better pics but I'm bad at posing and my camera battery was dying so I couldn't keep retaking them. 8( Ah well.
Uhhh and now miscellaneous news... saw Iron Man 2, was very entertaining. Better than I expected. Some nice programmer jokes going on, enjoyed thoroughly. Hooray for nerd humor.
I had to flash my BIOS yesterday, and I can honestly admit I had butterflies in my stomach while that stupid progress bar was going. Oh gosh, so many things can go wrong. NOOO BIOS NOOOO... but it worked fine. Lawl. I am lame.
Starcraft 2 coming out July 27th. Have to preorder it, but, don't know if I want the Collector's Edition or not. So fucking stupidly expensive. I already have beta access (2 actually, anyone want a beta key?), so I don't care about that promotion. Just want the game... and... ugh. $100 for the CE. I remember when Starfox 64 LE was $29.99. WHERE HAVE THE TIMES GONE?!
