I have a headache and the Advil I took hasn't kicked in yet. Yarg. *sighs* Oh well. At least I'm back home, finals are over, and I get to spend time with my boyfriend, friends, and family. Well, the family part will no doubt get extremely frustrating after awhile... But that's ok, I suppose.
I've spent time with Joe for at least a few hours everyday since I got home. It's been kind of nice. I have this urge to just curl up and cuddle with him though, which was difficult since today we were over at the college... And tomorrow I'll be hanging out with Christy. She has tickets for a "Lord of the Rings" marathon over at the mall, and she invited me to go since her boyfriend can't and Joe has to go to Robbie's brown belt testing (not that he'd want to go anyway, though, since apparently he's not into the LotR movies). They're going to show the extended versions of the first and second movies, then we get to see the third one, which is supposed to start showing in theatres on Wednesday. I'm sure it'll be fun. I finally got to meet Christy yesterday, after talking to her online for awhile and hearing a lot about her from Joe. She's a great person, and Joe was right. We hit it off as soon as we met. It was great.
Oh, I found out last week during finals that a space opened up for me on-campus. So Friday night and Saturday morning I got to move whatever stuff I wasn't taking home with me into the new apartment and out of the smelly hotel. ^.^ I'll be sharing a room with my friend Kyra, and the apartment with two other suitemates, Lauren and Katrina. I've met Lauren, but Katrina left to go back home on Wednesday since she had already finished with her final exams by then. That must have been nice... Neither Elena nor myself finished until Friday so we didn't get to head back home until Saturday. Now *that* was a fun drive. And I'm not being sarcastic about that! For a seven hour drive it went by fairly fast, which was nice. And while we left an hour later than expected (due to Elena helping me move stuff) we still got back not long after we had originally thought we would. And I'm still not exactly sure how we were able to fit all that stuff into the car safetly, but I don't think I should question it. As long as we managed to get it all in there, it's fine.
Also turns out that we didn't go to RENT on Friday. That's ok, though. I got to finish packing and move. And I saved money.
