Well, I didn't get kicked out of my room overnight, which was nice. I did, however, have to stay out of it again today while they painted the walls. My room is now green instead of light blue. It'll take some getting used to, but it's not bad. My dad claims he doesn't like it, though. I told him hhe wasn't staying in the room so it didn't matter what he thought. ^.^

Pops Concert rehearsal was interesting. They have different parts taken from the shows in the past put into the routine, and Pleas (the choir director) and some of the alumni (meaning some of the... 6 of us that were able to make it then) almost cried watching the current choir students doing what we had done when we were still there. I can't wait to see the whole show, though. The 15th Pops Concert to be held at the school, and the last one to take place in the current auditorium. Then they'll be performing over at Saratoga until 2006 or so, when the new theatre should be finished. I remember seeing the plans that Mrs. Pleasant had made up my senior year, and if the blue prints haven't changed, then I'm sure the place will look fabulous once it's done.

I was going to go over to Joe's place, but that didn't happen.
Ever have one of those days where you just want to be held? Yeah. I was having one of those times during the afternoon and evening, yet I couldn't leave the house to go see him. First it was my mother wanting help cleaning the bathrooms, since my cousin is spending the night. Then it was staying in the house waiting for my aunt and cousin to stop by while my parents went out to dinner. Turns out my parents got back before the two of them even got here. Bah. I called Joe's cell a few times and eventually left a message, but by the time I actually got to talk to him it was too late to go over without being considered rude.
It's times like these that I wish he and I had our own place. I'd like that. But obviously that won't happen for a while since neither of us can afford it and during the school year I'm 400 miles away from him.

Speaking of distances... Joe and his family are moving to Nevada this summer. The move was kind of expected, but they thought that it wouldn't occur for another year or so. So as of August, my boyfriend and I will be living even further apart then we were this past year.

I need some ice cream. I also need to play some games on my Dreamcast. Maybe that'll cheer me up.
