Shawn's family is here! Yay! I LOVE his parents and it's great to see them again. Tim's here too. He's a pretty cool kid. I can tell we're gonna get along just fine. They'll be here for the next 12 days or so. We're gonna do a bunch of nifty things like go to the beach, visit NYC, see some kind of play perhaps, and whatnot.
I have a physical with the doctor on Saturday. I hate physicals. They're horribly embarrassing and awkward. I do need to get my chest checked out though. Cracked some bones a while back and it's been hurting like crazy. Hmm... now that I think about it, I might not be able to go on Saturday. That's not good. I'd rather get it over with than wait.
Speaking of getting stuff over with... I need to start reading Wuthering Heights. I've got to take notes and write an essay by September 3rd and I have absolutely no progress to show. Better get started. Bleh.
My parents are going away for a couple of days. Going away. Heh. Only 3 hours, but that's enough for me. Good ole Atlantic City. Can always count on 'em to lure the parental units away for a bit. Downside? I have to take care of a dog, 2 cats, and 4 birds. Not smiling. I am NOT an old cat lady.
