I'M BACK! Woo hoo! Junior camp was a blast! Exhausting, but fun. Me, Shawn, and Chè headed for Allentown, PA Sunday evening amidst all the rain and lightning. Chilled out, ate, played Cranium, and, surprisingly, hit it off with Danielle from Spotswood for once. Later on at camp, we even talked a bit and exchanged balloonagrams and hugged. Weird. Chè and I were part of the Rec staff and didn't have any kids in our room; Shawn was a counselor. We helped out everywhere and anywhere that was needed like moving chairs, cleaning up, watching kids, running errands, etc.
The kids were awesome! Definitely some of the cutest and funniest... especially Carissa, the camp princess. The worship services were good too. Did a lot of singing and moving around, which reminds me...
*sings and does hand motions* There was a wise old king, who had ten thousand men, he taught them all the word of God and got them born again. So when you're up, you're up. And when you're down, you're down. And when you're only half way up, you're neither up nor down.
Chè and I have got a new song!
Oh! Story time! Chè and I had been planning for months to shave Matt's unusually Wolf-man legs as a kind of going away present. Well, at camp, there was this counselor, Warren, who's this huge, muscular, black guy, who agreed to hold Matt down, along with Shawn, while Chè and I shaved Matt's leg. We had two razors and shaving cream and there's hardly any hair missing from his leg. needless to say, however, there is a noticable difference on his leg from far away. *grins* He screamed like a girl...
We went to Dorney Park/Wild water Kingdom on Tuesday. It was fun, but the heat and humidity was horrible and by the time we went to the water park, it started storming. We left early and I honestly don't remember what happened after that.
I'm tired. I'm hone, which is a story all in itself. And Shawn is still at camp. I miss him already and I want him to come home. He's coming home early though, so maybe, though I doubt it, I'll get to see him on Saturday.
Got my schedule for school fixed. Two of my classes were dropped. History of Art canceled? What the heck? I'm a bit peeved about that. So now I'm taking Intro to Business, which, I guess, will be good if I want to open my own cafe. And, instead of this music history class, I'm taking painting again. Bleh. My GPA is a 3.7! Woo! Didn't think it was that good. I'm very happy about that. And I'm in the top 15th percentile in my class. I just missed the top tenth, but I don't really care. Top 15%! YES!
Anywho, I'm off. Catch y'all later!
SHAZAYWOO!
