Who: Yukimura seiichi and Tezuka Kunimitsu
What: Completing Marui's dare to Yukimura.
Where: In Tezuka and Marui's room
When: sometime while Marui is away
Rating: PG-13/14
Comments: Yukimura obtained Tezuka's glasses prescription through his medical records and he brought glasses with him because he wanted to have a peace offering should his venture fail.

Yukimura walked down the hall to Marui and Tezuka's room thinking of what he might do to sneak into Seigaku's former buchou's bed. He was wearing a comfortable pair of shorts and a plain t-shirt, and hoping that Tezuka would be asleep, or nearly asleep. Getting to the door, he quietly opened it, stepping inside and closing it behind him as he looked around the dark room for the occupied bed. It was around midnight, so there was a good chance of Marui's boyfriend being asleep.

Sleep had been difficult the first night without Marui, mostly because the bed felt too big to sleep alone in and Tezuka couldn't bear the thought of separating the pair until he nodded off in English. Even once the room had been rearranged and set back the way both Tezuka and Marui found it, sleep had been difficult to find and by the time Tezuka had finally fallen asleep it was eleven thirty and he was more exhausted than he should be.

Spotting Tezuka's bed, Yukimura stealthily walked over to it, looking over the other boy to make sure he was asleep. The bed is a bit small, he mused, looking around for Marui's bed, which was near it. I could move Marui's bed against it, which is how I believe the bed were before... he went over to the other bed, making sure there was nothing on the floor in between. Pulling the bed quickly against Tezuka's, Yukimura smiled and climbed in, watching the slumbering boy for signs that he was waking up.

The haze over Tezuka when he opened his eyes a slit was a disorientating mix of his poor sight and sleepy mind, catching him off guard and confusing him. There had been a noise, or perhaps he had dreamed it... Frowning, he closed his eyes again and silently wondered if he had remembered to lock the door.

And then the noise came again, like something heavy scratching its way across the carpet and closer to him. Someone was definitely in the room. Tezuka held in a groan, stubbornly keeping his eyes shut. Ridiculous, he was dreaming and was far too tired for this nonsense. He tugged the sheets up to his chin, remaining facing the wall and attempting to fall back into proper sleep.

Noticing Tezuka move, Yukimura smiled slightly and climbed under the covers, half on the other boy's bed. Hopefully seigaku's former buchou would be too sleepy to realize who it was, if he noticed at all. It was quite interesting to observe the other boy sleep, but Yukimura figured he might be needing so sleep as well that night, since he planned on waking up early so that Tezuka wouldn't find him, or if he did, that he'd at least be awake for it.

Tezuka stiffened as the mattress shifted. Automatically he half-turned to reach for his glasses before pausing and letting his hand fall back on the bed. He didn't have his glasses anymore, did he? And this obviously wasn't a dream anymore or he would - except no one crawled into bed with him save Marui and Marui had gone home. Slowly, Tezuka blinked open his eyes and gazed at the dark ceiling above him. Thinking was getting him nowhere and someone else was in the room.

Yukimura noticed Tezuka moving and sighed inaudibly before watching from under the blankets to see what the other boy would do. He seemed to know there was someone in the room with him, but not who. That was good. Even better would be if Tezuka remained in the dark as to who was there with him.

There was a solution, and if it was Marui then Tezuka would probably be forgiven. He rolled onto his side and squinted, trying to make out the extra lump and bed next to his own. How careless of him to forget to lock the door. Tezuka shifted the blankets again, loosening them slightly and, glowering at the extra warmth next to him, straightened himself. Common sense reminded Tezuka that when a person he did not know decided to share a bed with him, the first thing he should do is kick them out.

And kick he did, even if it wasn't particularly hard and the sheets prevented proper movement - but it was a kick and hopefully his nighttime visitor would get the point.

Having seen the kick coming, Yukimura moved to the side slightly to avoid it, smiling calmly. Apparently he'd woken Tezuka up...Oh well, the former Seigaku buchou would fall asleep sooner or later.

Easily fixed. Tezuka struggled into a sitting position, scowling down next to him despite how little he could actually see. It didn't matter, he had a good feeling he knew where the intruder on his sleep was (something he just did not need right now, thank you). He patted the space next to him and tugged his pillow onto his lap with a shake of his head. Desperate times called for desperate measure and this obviously was not Marui. He lifted the pillow over his, hesitated for a moment to reflect on how ridiculously stupid this was, then brought the pillow back down as hard as he could. Satisfaction filled his sleepy body as the (soft) pillow connected with someone else with a thwump.

Yukimura sighed at the whack and sat up. "Hello Tezuka-kun," he greeted, knowing he'd been found out. He'd just have to try again tomorrow night, "You should get to sleep, its rather late," he finished, gesturing to the clock.

Tezuka's eye twitched. "Absolutely," He agreed, tone dry. He thwacked Yukimura a second time. "Leave." A third time, just for good measure.

"Are we having a pillow fight?" Yukimura asked pleasantly, not moving from his spot, as he defended himself with Marui's pillow, "It is a bit late for it..." He ignored Tezuka's request for him to leave.

If Yukimura hit him back, there would be hell and Rikkai or not Tezuka would make sure he ran laps until his skinny body blew away in the wind. He was tempted to ask what the hell Yukimura was doing in his bed, but he was blind and tired. "Leave."

"Whatever for?" Yukimura asked, tilting his head slightly and pulling out a pair of glasses that should work for the other former buchou, perching them gently on Tezuka's nose, "It's quite comfortable here, and I wouldn't want to wake up Yuuta-kun going back into my room."

Tezuka blinked, dropping the pillow. Oh look, glasses. They were the wrong shape and didn't fit quite right, but he could see somewhat. He straightened them, squinting at Yukimura. Best not to ask. "He's lived with Fuji," Tezuka retorted. "I'm sure he can handle you sneaking back to your own bed." Seeing was all well and good but he had a feeling these glasses were some kind of bribe on his half-asleep mind.

"Ah but I wouldn't want to be rude," Yukimura said, "And besides, I'm already here...." Shifting in the bed, he smiled at Tezuka, who could now see it.

And sneaking into Tezuka's room wasn't rude? His eye twitched again. "What are you doing here?" He asked, giving into his annoyed curiosity.

"I was trying to sleep," Yukimura answered truthfully, ignoring the twitching eye and adjusting the pillow in his lap, sitting up comfortably to hug the pillow and watch Tezuka.

"Go sleep somewhere else," Tezuka replied, folding his arms across his chest and doing his best to look intimidating. Which was difficult with his sleep ruffled hair and wrinkled pajamas.

"Ah but it's so comfortable here," Yukimura protested, smiling at the cute picture that Tezuka made. He leaned his chin on the pillow and looked up at the larger boy innocently.

"I'm Yagyuu's bed would be more comfortable." Tezuka pulled of the glasses again, folding them and holding them back out to Yukimura. He could use them to find another room, or an empty one.

"No it's a bit lumpy," Yukimura answered, "And besides, I want to sleep," he finished not taking the glasses.

Tezuka stared at him for a second, then set the glasses down between them. Alright. Fine. He scooped the pillow back up and dragged it and his blanket over the beds and past Yukimura. Desk chair it was tonight, he thought with a sigh as his feet touched the cool carpet.

Yukimura tilted his head to one side, following Tezuka, "where are you going?" he asked, carrying Marui's pillow with him.

Tezuka froze, raising his eyes to the ceiling in a hopeless gesture. "To my desk," He replied stiffly, dragging himself to his feet. He knew the way fairly well, at least.

"That won't be very comfortable," Yukimura commented, continuing to follow the other boy, "I'm sure your bed is much comfier."

Not with Yukimura in it. "I'm sure it is," Tezuka answered through his teeth, ignoring Yukimura behind him. This was ridiculous and he was far too tired for any kind of nonsense. Maybe once he kicked Yukimura out he would call Marui and wake him up so they could suffer together - though that probably wouldn't work out too well and he'd just get hung up on.

Perching on Tezuka's desk, Yukimura smiled, "So you will be sleeping in it then?"

Tezuka felt for his chair, tugging it away from the desk and Yukimura. "No," He snapped, dropping himself onto the chair. His neck already hurt.

Stretching out on Tezuka's desk like a cat, Yukimura yawned slightly, "You might hurt your neck sleeping there," he said, watching the other boy amusedly.

Tezuka sighed and pointedly turned his head away Yukimura. This was ridiculous, but perhaps he could wait until Yukimura went to sleep and sneak back to his bed and not risk vicious neck pains in the morning. He tapped the pillow in his lap for a moment, then settled back against the chair feeling somewhat impatient with this whole mess.

Lying comfortably on the desk and watching Tezuka, Yukimura smiled, not moving an inch, but keeping his eyes open. If the other boy thought he was sleeping then he'd probably return to his bed. Breathing calmly, he smiled, cushioning his head with his arms.

Perhaps he should have kept the glasses. It certainly sounded like Yukimura was sleeping, though Tezuka wasn't sure if he trusted anything the so-called 'Child of God' did. He shifted uncomfortably, tempted to sneak back to his bed but afraid of being more careless than he already had been.

Letting out a soft little snore, Yukimura watched as Tezuka moved uncomfortably. The other boy must be rather uncomfortable in the chair, he'd give in soon.

That might be sleep, though part of Tezuka doubted it. He shifted again, propping the pillow behind his head carefully and leaning back on it, sighing. Just...get up, and sneak over the bed. It didn't take much energy but this was Yukimura and Yukimura was too much like Fuji for Tezuka's liking.

Yukimura sighed, realizing that Tezuka was going to insist on being stubborn. While he was normally quite patient, there was a pen digging into his shin, and Seigaku's former buchou was being too careful. Hopping off the desk, he sat comfortably in Tezuka's lap, smiling calmly. Maybe now the boy he was sitting on would give up and sleep with him.

Yukimura was uncomfortably heavy. Tezuka's brow furrowed, the twitch starting in his left eye again. He was sure one could reason with Yukimura. Possibly.

"Please get off of me," He said, slowly in case Yukimura was too drugged or sleepy to understand. Which might explain everything thus far.

"Why?" Yukimura asked innocently, "Your lap is very comfortable," he ignored the twitching eyebrows and slow speech.

Tezuka was glad one of them was comfortable, except he really wasn't. His eye twitched a tad more vigorously, then he sighed and settled his hands on either arm rest and forced himself into a standing position - or something close to it at least.

Hanging onto Tezuka's shoulders, Yukimura turned and wrapped his legs around the other boy's waist, hanging off him like a monkey, "Are you going to sleep in the bed now?" he asked, smiling up at the other boy.

Tezuka teetered for a moment, then gave in and dropped back into the chair. Yukimura was absolutely obnoxious. "Only if you leave," He grumbled.

Sitting facing Tezuka in said boy's lap was comfortable, but it would probably be more so in the bed. Yukimura shifted slightly, "Now why would I do that? Then I'd have nowhere to sleep," he said, not worried in the least.

Tezuka was never leaving that door unlocked again. Ever again. "Go away, please." Like he really cared at this point where Yukimura slept.

Yukimura pouted at Tezuka, rather sleepy, but fighting it, "But then you'd be all alone," he said, approaching from a different angle, "I wouldn't want that."

"I would," Tezuka replied. It was all very simple as far as he was concerned: unless your name was Marui Bunta, get out.

"You're no fun," Yukimura said, leaning up to sit face to face with Tezuka, "You sure you don't want company?"

"I am absolutely positive," Tezuka insisted, scowling. "Get off. You are heavy." He leaned his head back and away from Yukimura, narrowing his eyes to keep himself from squinting.

"I'm lighter than you, y'know," Yukimura informed Tezuka calmly, not budging from his position on the other boy's lap.

"The chair is not complaining," Tezuka sighed, feeling more and more irritated as time went on. "Go away." Broken record, a little voice chirped in the back of his mind but Tezuka ignored it. Yukimura would have to get the point eventually.

Pouting at Tezuka, Yukimura leaned forward slightly, "Are you sure you want me to go away? You seem pretty lonely without Marui."

He was not lonely. Well, not lonely enough to want Yukimura's company. "I am absolutely positive," He said solemnly.

Sighing, Yukimura dramatically raised a hand to his forehead, "If you really don't want me..." he began, not intending to move an inch from where he was.

"I don't." He really, really didn't and was far, far too tired for any of this.

Yukimura sighed, "Then I suppose I'll just have to...stay here until you do."

Tezuka groaned. Oh, good heavens. Couldn't Yukimura go bother Yagyuu or something? Tezuka doubted he would mind all that much if Yukimura decided to settle himself in his lap. His lips pursed and he said nothing, fighting down his irritation. There had to be a way out of this mess.

Resting his head on Tezuka's chest, Yukimura closed his eyes, resting for the moment. It wouldn't do for them both to be sleepy tomorrow.

Tezuka's skin literally felt like it was crawling and he gritted his teeth. This was not comfortable at all. "Get off of me," He managed through his teeth.

"Shouldn't you try saying something else?" Yukimura asked, keeping his eyes closed and not moving.

Like what? Please obviously wasn't working and Tezuka was getting a little bit upset by this point. "There is nothing else to say," He snapped, fingers tapping against the arm rests.

Sighing, Yukimura read the tension in Tezuka's body as the other boy being upset and ignored the warning, not answering.

Tezuka didn't understand why Yukimura was acting exasperated when he was the one intruding on Tezuka's space and sleep. Not appreciated, any of it. Someone was going to suffer in the morning. Tezuka took a deep breath, then asked extra carefully, "Who put you up to this?"

"Marui," Yukimura replied, as if it was obvious, "Who else would it have been?"

Oh, of course. Who else? Tezuka's eye twitched a little harder and he was silent.

"Now will you let me get it over with? Just be glad I'm not actually trying to have sex with you," Yukimura told Tezuka, sitting up, since the other boy knew about the dare now.

Marui and Tezuka were going to have a nice, long chat when the former came back. And maybe Marui would actually listen, but one never knew. Tezuka took another, longer breath. He appreciated, at least, that nobody was trying to have sex with him at the moment. "Why?"

"He decided to play truth or dare. I chose dare and he told me to sleep with you," Yukimura answered calmly, smiling.

Truth or Dare was officially a stupid game. "You do realize you don't actually need to."

"I suppose not...but he completed his dare," Yukimura answered.

Tezuka wasn't absolutely positive he wanted to know, but - "What was his dare?" He asked, sighing in exasperation.

"I don't think you really want to know..." Yukimura answered, shifting in Tezuka's lap, "Can we get up? My legs are falling asleep because you're sitting on them."

And that was just worrisome. Tezuka grimaced, but at least he wasn't the only one uncomfortable. Carefully, he pulled himself back to his feet, leaning still on the chair so that Yukimura could hopefully get off.

Hopping out of the chair, Yukimura smiled at Tezuka, "Thank you. Now will you please sleep with me and I'll be gone in the morning."

If Yukimura kept insisting on sleeping with him, Tezuka was just going to sleep on the floor. He pinched the bridge of his nose, sighing. "You stay on one side and I am going to stay on the other," He replied, finally, meaning the beds that had been pushed together again.

"That works," Yukimura said, waiting for Tezuka to get in bed.

"Far on the other side," Tezuka added, unimpressed still. He pushed the chair away slightly, just to make sure he wouldn't walk into it, and started carefully towards the beds.

Next time he went home he was getting his glasses back.

It was a little strange wandering back towards the bed with Yukimura simply being around. He wasn't a person Tezuka was particularly comfortable around and he couldn't see himself getting much sleep tonight, but at least maybe the nonsense would stop. Tezuka prodded the edge of the bed with his knee, then dragged himself back over to what was now his side - again. He felt self-conscious and uncomfortable and there wasn't anything wrong with Yukimura, he was sure, except there totally was.

Yukimura smiled calmly and lay down on Marui's bed, getting himself comfortable (far away from Tezuka, because even if he was a dare he far preferred Yagyuu). "Oyasumi," He said quietly to Tezuka from his spot."

"Good night," Tezuka echoed. However stiff it was (close to) sincere. Scowling, he dragged the blankets back over him and turned to face the wall. This had never happened, he told himself. None of it. Until he got a hold of Marui.
