Classes were done for the day, and Taka was heading back toward his room. He had a lot to think about. Apparently, the blind date event hadn’t gone as well. But than…again, he should have known that Niou would have a bit of fun with it.
He wasn’t watching where he was going, and bumped into someone standing still. Blinking, his hand went out to stable the other, when he noticed it was none other than Jin. “Oh, Jin! Sorry…” He gave the other an embarrassed smile.
Akutsu grumbled to himself. He had spent all yesterday in his room ignoring any and everything that had to do with Valentine's Day. The only time he'd left the room was to go down to the cafeteria and get something to eat. He had hoped he could ignore that the day had existed for a few more days, but then he found himself bumping into Taka. Or more the other had bumped into him. "Watch where you're going..."
“Sorry, Jin. My bad!” He said, grinning at him. “How are you?” It didn’t look like Jin was doing much. Not to mention that he had been a bit of a grumpy hermit the past week, so he was glad to see him.
"Fine, I guess." Akutsu shrugged. "You?" He figured the other had probably been busy.
"I've been alright." He said, with a smile. "A bit busy, but now that the blind date event stress is mostly over, I feel a lot better~"
Akutsu frowned slightly at the mention of the blind date event. "How was you date...?" He found himself asking, despite telling himself that he didn't care.
"Well...My date..." His smile was wide as he remembered. "It was pretty interesting...he's very nice..."
Akutsu's frown deepened. "That it?"
Taka blinked. "What do you mean, that's it? We had a great time. We ate in, than spent the afternoon in town."
"Hn..." Akutsu leaned back against a wall, arms crossed. "So who was it anyway?"
Taka smiled at Jin. "Niou set me up with Yagyuu."
Of course Niou could be more annoying than Akutsu already thought he was. "Your roommate...?"
"Yes, he is." He...was somewhat surprised that Jin actually remembered who his roommate was, really. He continued to smile, happier than he had been in the past two months.
"Hn..." Akutsu didn't say anything. He didn't like how happy Taka was about the date.
Taka shifted his shoulder bag. "It ended up to be a great day, despite the shock of seeing him as my date."
"Whatever." Akutsu growled slightly. He shoved his hands into his pockets and pushed himself off of the wall.
Taka blinked at Jin's...violent reaction. "What's wrong with you?" He asked, before grinning. "Mad that you didn't sign up, or something?"
"Nothing." Akutsu grumbled. "And why would I be mad about that. I still think the whole thing was stupid..."
He looked over at his friend. "Than why are you more grumpy than normal?" He asked, raising a brow.
Akutsu glared at the floor. "It's nothing. I'm fine..."
The brunette sighed. "If you're sure..."
"Yeah I'm sure..." Akutsu grumbled continuing to avoid looking at the other.
"Just woke up on the wrong side of the bed, huh?" He said, smiling teasingly as he nudged the other.
"Che... I woke up just fine." Akutsu growled.
"Than why are you so pissy?" Taka said with a sigh. He was finally in good spirits, except for worried that other people got tricked during the blind date.
"It's none of your business." Akutsu frowned. "Leave me alone."
Taka blinked. "Woah...you're really pissed off." He frowned at his friend.
Akutsu growled. Why didn't anyone listen when he told them to go away and leave him alone? "Damn it..." He reached out to hit or smack the other. Instead, he grabbed Taka by the shirt and pulled him in, pressing his mouth to the others. Damn, he did not mean to do that.
Taka was surprised that Jin was so angry, and was about to suggest a game of tennis, when suddenly Akustu grabbed him and...Brown eyes widened as Jin's lips were on his own. What the hell?
For a moment Akutsu didn't move. He just cursed himself. After another moment, he pushed Taka away and turned. "Fuck!" He started to walk off as fast as he could without actually running.
The brunette was shocked beyond belief, and just stood there like a fish out of water. What...just happened?
Akutsu was still trying to figure out what he had just done as he headed for his room. He was pretty sure he'd just screwed up. Damn. He punched the wall in annoyance.
Jin...had just taken his first kiss. Well...Damn. After standing there frozen for a couple minutes, Taka was broken out of his thoughts by Yagyuu calling out his name. Blinking away his stupor, he smiled at the bespectacled boy, and followed him toward the Library, still halfway shocked.
