Who: Tezuka Kunimitsu and Sanada Genichirou
What: ... Sanada confronts Tezuka about the pro-stuff >_>
Where: The library
When: After Sanada's health check up thing. Sometime.
Rating: ... swearing. And physical violence. 8|
Comments: Oh god. These two are so much fail. There was meant to be tennis. But Tezuka sucks. 8|

Honestly, Sanada was absolutely pissed off. Why? One Tezuka Kunimitsu hadn't shown up at the health checks for the people planning on going pro. Sanada had some vague thought that Tezuka hadn't shown up due to Marui sitting there... but that was ridiculous. Tezuka wasn't stupid enough to let a jackass like Marui watching the medical check stop him from going. Unless of course there was no plans to go pro in the first place. And that thought made him really irritated. So what had Sanada done, the first moment that he could? He had stomped around the camp, looking for Tezuka. It had taken a while, but he eventually located him in the library. Sanada stomped in. He stopped once he was standing next to Tezuka and frowned at him. "Tezuka." His way of a greeting.

The encyclopedia slid easily back into its place on the waist-high shelf. Holding in a sigh, Tezuka glanced at Sanada - all huge and rather intrusive - next to him. "Sanada," He returned, flipping his notebook shut and tucking under his arm. Somehow, Sanada didn't seem the type to spark library conversations and this was...slightly worrisome. Tezuka eyed him carefully, completely aware that Sanada should be at the health examination for the players interested in going pro. Which Tezuka wasn't. His head tilted slightly at the thought and he mentally shrugged it away. "Is something wrong?" He asked, noticing Sanada's frown.

Sanada's eyes narrowed at Tezuka's question and his frown deepened some more. He didn't know whether Tezuka was genuinely confused or if he was just being stupid. "Why the hell weren't you there?" Also known as, why had Tezuka decided not to show up to the health check for people who were planning on turning pro through the camp. Unless of course Tezuka had the plan of getting there by himself, which was just stupid, given that this opportunity had come up. Sanada gritted his teeth together and glowered at an approaching librarian who seemed to want to tell him off for speaking too loudly. They scuttled off pretty quickly.

Tezuka stared after the frightened librarian and then back at Sanada. "I didn't want to go," He replied simply. Sanada was not in a good mood and Tezuka was not looking forward to dealing with that. Instead he turned on his heel and walked farther down the shelves. Actually, 'want' seemed incorrect. He didn't 'need' to go to any health examination, did he? He set his notebook and pencil case at one of the empty tables. Nobody was ever in the library.

Tezuka didn't want to go. That was the most shit excuse in the entire world that Sanada had heard. Why not? He clenched his hands into fists as Tezuka walked away. Sanada took a deep breath to calm himself down before he followed, slamming his hands down on the table as he got there. "Why didn't you want to go?" it took quite a bit of effort to say that somewhat calmly

"I didn't need to go," Tezuka replied, tugging his things away from Sanada's raging hands. "I'm not participating in the selections." Duh. Sanada was intelligent enough to realize this. And realize that Marui apparently tended to hang around everywhere that wasn't the library. "Try not to hit the tables, please."

Well at least Tezuka had told him straight up exactly what Sanada had suspected. And that just made him even more angry. He clenched his fingers tighter, his knuckles turning white and his hand shaking just a bit. He wasn't entirely sure what he had done until he felt his fist connect with Tezuka's cheek and felt the shock up his arm from the impact. Ah, blind rage. Well, he hadn't hit the tables, so wouldn't Tezuka be happy? "Why not?"

Ah, at least it wasn't the tables though - now his face hurt and he was two steps back from where he had intended. Tezuka stood still, staring for a moment at the wall opposite them. Then, slowly, he felt his eyes narrowed and his neck cracked satisfyingly as he looked back at Sanada. "Do tell," He said quietly, his own hand squeezing around the edge of the table. "What exactly that was for?" Punching him had just been rude of Sanada, and all it was accomplishing was making Tezuka upset also - not that he wasn't upset as it was, but physical abuse didn't need to be on his list of worries.

There was the sudden urge to punch Tezuka again, maybe in the other cheek. A small part of him realized just how strange it was to be... hitting people in the middle of the library, but then again, it was only a few feet away that he had thrown a book at Niou that one time... and... well, the library was a place of interesting things. "For being a fucking idiot." he said, grinding his teeth together. "Did Marui make you decide to not do it?"

That was too much. "I can make my own decisions," Tezuka replied coolly, tilting his chin a tad higher in an effort to appear, at least, calm. "I am capable of being something without him, if you have forgotten." He turned again, leaving his notebook and preferably his anger behind on the table to head back into the tall shelves. Learning - everything, was relaxing and he had never bothered to notice how very full camp's library was. But now he was angry and even disturbed that Sanada would think Marui had anything to do with the decisions he made about his life. It was all he had not to turn and throw a heavy book at Sanada as hard as he could.

Well that was good. He didn't have to go hunt down Marui now and beat the crap out of him. Sanada frowned at Tezuka as he walked away, pulling the stupid notebook towards him and scrunching it up a bit. There. Now Tezuka had a bent book. Ha. Something. Though, Tezuka was exactly right. He could be something without Marui. But here he was throwing away an opportunity to start on the path to being that something. It was... absolutely unthinkable that Tezuka would want to do something other than play tennis. Sanada stomped after Tezuka again, shoving the scrunched up notebook into Tezuka's chest. "Get your tennis racquet."

Sanada was such an idiot. Tezuka eyed his mutilated notebook distastefully, then turned to continue down the aisle. What was he looking for again? Ah, it didn't matter. "No, thank you," He answered over his shoulder, stiff and unforgiving. His cheek stung and his pride hurt and suddenly he remembered exactly why he was hiding out in the library and that hurt most of all - and all thanks to Sanada and his idiocy. For once, Tezuka Kunimitsu was going to turn down a match and it had nothing to do with the swelling that had finally gone down in his arm, but with the knowledge his sleep-deprived self didn't have the self-control to put up with Sanada being a fool.

... What? Sanada stared at Tezuka as though he was suddenly about to sprout three heads or something. Tezuka was turning down a tennis match. Okay. "Fine." Due to his severe lack of anger management... it was probably better for him not to continue to pursue this, considering it might result in more face punching and... other forms of physical violence. "Don't hide in the library." he said abruptly, frowning at Tezuka. "And eat properly." And then he turned around and stomped out of the library, shooting another fukubuchou-glare at the librarian. Now he had to go find another way to vent his anger... but first, he had to talk to Atobe.
