saint who's day?
I kind of missed that Valentine's Day had come and gone this year.
Kind of.
Like, I realized it was Feb 14th, I saw all the pink-heart-candy-stuff all over the place, but it didn't quite click as being what it is.
I've only once* gotten any sort of present on Valentine's Day (the thought of the note that came with which still brings a smile to my lips), so I've never really associated it with love/couples/etc.
My mother's birthday is on Valentine's Day.
So instead of linking it with what one normally does, I have a different meaning for it.
It's not that I forget it's Valentine's Day, it's that I forget what that is.
*excepting those elementary school valentines that we indiscriminately pass out to everyone in the class
