The great writing plan goes flat like soda

Man, I shouldn't tell LJ anything until after I do it. The Great Plan to go to bed post-work, get up around midnight or one, and come into the Lab for many hours of straight writing has...fizzled a bit. I mean, I did get up at 2:00...but then I spent an hour or so noodling around on the Internet...and so now it's after four and I'm finally in the Lab writing an LJ post. I did spend some of that time trying to find my missing hand-outs, but...yeah, not so much.

Though if I were to be honest with myself, I'm probably only two hours or so late. I doubt I would've gotten out of my house before two, even if I did wake up at twelve.

I suppose the dream I had just before I woke up makes up for it. I remember some creepy elements to it, but then there was a large section at the very end of giggling and snuggling ("Root was worse," said object of snuggling and giggling) and, for some reason, a discussion of taking Chemistry versus taking Physics. I also twigged to something in the dream I hadn't before, and...then had a discussion of Jason White. Whitey! I blame rereading Snow Crash for that last one.

Now I'm at the Lab. I've spilled Diet Dr. Pepper on myself and written a language appropriate greeting on the board. Time to get to work, methinks.

(Oh HAY I'll be here for a plaza sunrise. I love a plaza sunrise!)

not doing stuff i should, good morning world, dorkitude, dreams
