9/9/2011 ARCH ENEMY at RAM's HEAD LIVE
Went with Milla to see Arch Enemy at RAM's HEAD LIVE. John and Kate rolled up also. We got there in time to get some specials (before opening band $3 rails). So I had a few :3 Milla was very pumped about seeing CHTONIC. I left work early (like 3PM) but it was raining like a motherfucker, and it took me like an hour to GET to maryland, then another hour and some change to get up to Savage. UGH. And Milla was all pressed about getting there early, and I was thinking we'd get there just in time X_X:... we got there early enough tho.
Before the show started I had to get some cash (no time to do before) to get soem merch... so we had to wait in line at the damn ATM... while we were waiting, some drunk bro stumbles and shouts at me... apparently his nickname is "Rainbow," and I had my Rainbow shirt on (Ronnie James Dio, Ritchie Blackmore, etc.). And he wanted a picture with the shirt. He had NO IDEA what it was about, just that it said rainbow. so I humoured him and he took a photo. lulz.
Apparently on this day it was some sort of football game kickoff, and a free concert with Chevelle and ??? beats me was being held outside. I loved how the sign at the venue listed

I read it in Metalocalypse voices and we cracked up in line to get in. I've a picture of it that I need to upload somewhere. There was a dud ein a chicken suit there, in the pit. apparently he reeked of BO too.
We caught CHTHONIC but I missed a few near the middle to let John and Kate in (I had their tickets).
I thought the show was great, wanted to see more of CHTHONIC (but got a picture with most of them, and signed CD). Skeletonwitch was good, but unintelligable. Devildriver was getting me pumped, despite me only recognizing like 3 songs. Arch enemy was great, including the screen that had varios videos, lyrics, etc. on it. very professional. A step up show wise from when i saw them last (at JAXX). They could have played some older stuff, but DEAD BURY THEIR DEAD always gets props from me.. :3
