Looking For... v2.0

Ode to blogging...well, not really. I'm not that good at writing poetry, to be honest. But I do want to talk about blogging.
For the past several years I've been running, on my own, a blog called Sealed Realities, and I just started a blog called Unabridged Musings. I'm not going to sit here and say that they're extremely popular blogs, or even that good, but SR has done realitively well for a small blog.

My problem with blogging is that I often don't have enough time to do a regular schedule, or I get frustrated with my reviews and feel they need to be reworked before posting...which puts me behind (I think I have 4 or 5 reviews to be "reworked" just sitting on my HD). However, I've thought of a solution: instead of just one person putting their own input into a blog, why not get a small group of people, with varying tastes and expertise, and join into a blogging group?

So, I'm looking for people who would be interested in joining a blog group, preferably with a med. - high degree of writing proficency (though, as part of a blogging group, peer proof reading & editing would be part of the process). If you already have a blog but would still like to participate, that's fine as long as you keep up with the schedule. You can even dual-post reviews between blogs, as long as you link to the blogs in ea. post.

Right now this blog has no name or no identity. It's something to be created as a group. SR originally covered just anime, manga, fandom, & a/m industry. For UM I was expanding it to things to increase the dorky factor (and to all things that I enjoy). For this one, I wasn't going to limit it to anything. As long as someone is willing to cover a certain category, then it can be included (within reason; will be discussed as a group).

Once the blog group is founded, and details (name, coverage, etc, etc) are worked out, a tentative schedule will be created. How often things are posted will be dependent on how often the members feel they can get things ready. If you can't keep to your schedule, for whatever reason, then a request to pass over your post can be made, and another person can post. Though, having a "back-up" post in your pocket is also a good idea, but not required.

All brainstorming, organization, & such will be done through Google Wave, so if you don't have it, and want to be part of the group, you'll need an invite (which I have some leftover, so no worries). The blog itself will be set up through the wordpress blogging site (it's the best blogging site out there, IMO).

If you're interested, please comment to this post. All comments will be screened. Please include a link to any blogging you do now, or any work you may want to be included. If there are certain genres/categories you're intersted in covering, also include that.

If you just want to make some suggestions in general, but don't want to participate in the group, please feel free to comment too. Suggestions are always welcome.
