(no subject)
Why am I even freaking awake right now... ugh.
I'm so glad that it's finally the weekend... except I have to go to OU tomorrow for a joint "friendship" concert. Lol. It shouldn't be too bad, we had one here at Wright State last weekend and we sounded pretty damn good. I guess it's just the cynic in me that doesn't want to get up early tomorrow, ride a bus for 3 hours, rehearse for 2 hours, have a 2 hour concert and then ride back for another 3 hours. We'll be getting back at about 1 AM Sunday, and then Steve and I are going straight to M-town. My mom and I are going to hang out on Sunday, and then I'm going to hang out with Kate that evening.
Speaking of, Kate and I are talking again! It's so weird, I mean we were friends from kindergarten until 7th grade, and then after freshman year we didn't talk much... in the last year or two, we'll talk for a little while, and then lose touch for 6 months, then talk again. I've resolved to keep in touch this time, it feels really good to have a friend near me right now that I can hang out with and talk to. I really need it right now, and I think she does too.
Let's see... this quarter is almost over... 1 more week of classes, then finals week and my board. I think this quarter will be okay, there's one class I'm concerned about, but I think I'll be able to raise my GPA. I'm nervous about my board, my songs are pretty much ready, but I haven't spent a lot of time with the accompanist yet. Luckily I have a few make up lessons next week.
Spring break will be spent in- drum roll, please- Dalton, GA. Woo hoo. It's time for another of Steve's wrestling shows, he's really excited. I'm relatively excited too, but I keep telling Steve that I'm choosing the next vacation destination. :P
Well, that's about all for now... oh, but MY BIRTHDAY IS TUESDAY! Yay! Lol. As far as I know, my dad is coming down, and we'll do some shopping and dinner, so I'm pretty excited. I'm really lucky, I only have one class on T/Th and it's cancelled! Woot! 20... I can't believe it... although I'm sure it won't feel too much different.
