“This isn’t my idea of a good time.” Evelyn stood, ankle-deep in the snow, arms wrapped around herself, shivering.

“It’s not about the cold, or the snow, Evelyn. Look at that sky!”

“Yes. It’s green. Can we get back inside the TARDIS, now? I’d love some cocoa.”

“Where’s your spirit of adventure, Evelyn? I know you’ve never seen white snow fall from a green sky before.”

“True enough, I haven’t. But when my toes are frozen, so is my spirit of adventure.”

“Your feet dictate your willingness to be adventurous?”

Evelyn was quiet for a moment. “Yes, actually.”

The Doctor was silent, merely trudging along ahead of his companion, when something very cold and very wet hit him on the back of the neck.

“Now,” said Evelyn, “try to tell me that ice and snow dripping down the back of your neck doesn’t hamper your spirit of adventure.”
