Dear All,
I have been following the election a lot over here. I am happy to see that (for once) the American electorate did not let me down. Hopefully the Dems can keep it together and not try to exact vegence but actually run the country. A big hope but you never know. I can tell you that here in Japan no one really noticed. Well not normal people. I imagine government types and such will care and comment but for people on the ground... well... they are glad Bush will have a harder time of things.
In other news I have decided to stay and figure out what is going on with me and Kanako. There is a lot here and I am not able to leave it. So I am staying another year... (waiting behind solid steel for screams)... As usual my dad and Ping saw through the bs in my head and gave me a swift kick. But sometimes you need the kick to get your a** in gear.
School is going good. I am going to try to keep track of my kuwada scheduel now to (amuse) show you. Today I had (drum roll please) 0 clases. Yes that is correct none. I have 2 tomorrow which makes it my busiest day all week at Kuwada. Of course at Kojo I had a lite week. Only 6 (over 2 days) because of schedueling things and no 2 years. 2years are on Challenge Work this week.
The whole Challenge Work thing is kinda cool. The kids go out and work at a real store or office for 3-5 days. They work normal hours, so 8hr days, or school hours (8am-4pm). I think it is really cool that they get to try working this early. Of course in my family after you got into highschool you had to work every summer or have summer school. So I guess Jr High 2year only beats us by a year or so. The kids seem to be really looking forward to it. One of my kids is even working at a bank! She is working at a branch office of my bank, and I really wanted to go visit but I couldn't get my scheduel to match with any of the teachers going to look at the kids. Thats all from here. Nothing really to report at the moment. Talk to you all later.
