I wouldn't hate math here, except for the professors -.-

Today was a mixed day. I got my math test from last week back today, which really sucked because I thought I'd done well on it. I knew how to do everything on it, and I finished the thing in like 35 minutes, even after checking it over. But then I got it back and I'd gotten huge amounts of points off for minor mistakes. -.- On the first problem, I had the answer exactly right except I forgot the minus sign. Half the points off for that. On the third problem, I'd found the determinant of the matrix instead of just the matrix itself. No credit. What the hell?? The professor for this class is supposed to be pretty easy from what I hear. I admit I underestimated him, but it shouldn't have been this bad! It's not like I would have done better if I'd studied more, really.

Fortunately, Jeff came over after classes to go grocery shopping and study Japanese with me. I soon forgot about the math test. ^^ We even got most of the homework for Thursday done and studied the kanji for tomorrow. I have to spend a lot of time studying tomorrow and Wednesday though for EALC and AAE. AAE 204 is gonna kick my butt if I'm not careful, although I find it hard to believe I could do worse in terms of the class average on that than I did on the stupid math test. -.-

So my mom's coming to visit Wednesday night. That'll be interesting, since I have big news to tell her. Somehow I'll manage, but I'm not looking forward to the possible lecture about priorities and such. She can find a way to lecture about just about anything if she wants to I think. Oh well. Small price to pay.
