thought i'd forgotten about you ay?
circumstances have brought me yet again back to my ever faithful livejournal pals. anyway. because updating on what all has been happening would take about 20 pages worth of writing i think i'll just bullet the highlights.
~school is going well...i think i'm getting A's in all my classes
~got a job at the library this summer so i'm stickin around greenville
~spring break was busier than i thought (although i didn't go anywhere or work)
~had a sonogram and found i had gallstones
~a week later had a meeting with the surgeon
~6 days later i had laproscopic gallbladder removal surgery
~was out of school and at home for a week while i recovered
~surgery was a success and i only have 4 small holes and minimal scarring and am, for the most part out of significant pain
~am back at school and fully recovered
~got my placement for student teaching next spring
~took my content area test (test #2 in the certification process)
~didn't get a date (or go) to jr./sr. (like prom for college students)
~have my post-op appointment on tuesday (that's post operation in case you didn't get that)
~only 3 weeks left of school
and i think that pretty much covers it. there are other little detaily things but let's face...no one really cares about the details...so i left them out. well there's a lot more to say about emotional um, things but you know i really don't quite feel like talking about them here. i think i'm gonna pull out the old "real" journal and write what i have to say. then i think i'll finish reading a book and maybe start another one and then i'll go to bed. i'm absolutely dreading tomorrow. i have so much homework to do. i probably should be doing it now but i'm not. there's too much going on in my brain for me to do homework tonight. anyway. hopefully i'll update more often from now on. (remember when i used to write one or two a day? wow...either i had no life...or my life was 100 times more exciting).
