more mishaps...
So add another one to 'Injuries caused by Nick's stupidity' list.
I was cutting some wire with a scalpel earlier today. (yeah, they use actual medical quality knifes for art here... they're much better than the xacto shit we use) Well, as I cut the wire I plunged the knife through my jeans, the pocket, my boxers AND about an inch into my leg. It didn't hurt and it left me wondering 'did that go into my leg?' But the blood started to soak my jeans to answer my wonders. I have a pretty deep laceration about inch long... it's stopped bleeding, but I think I need stitches... but I don't want to. I JUST DON'T WANNNNNNNNA.
Other than that, I was welcomed with open arms at FedEx Kinko's here. The manager I met with happened to be from Tampa, of all places. So I'm going in for a formal interview tomorrow and then we'll see what happens. I'm excited to get back to working. It's been a full year since I quit and strangely I'm looking forward to waking up at a certain time everyday and going somewhere that I know what to do with everything and I'm in some sort of organized control. I mean I love the way my school is self propelled, but I think there is something in everyone that enjoys a system or something similar. Dunno.
