DAVE MATTHEWS IS THE SHIT!!!
we got tickets for the west palm show the day before the show. we were only supposed to be on the lawn but while i was standing outside finishing my beer, these people were like "hey guys... we cant go to the show anymore, an emergency just happened. here, just take these. we don't have time to sell them! peace". at first we thought it was a joke because they just gave us their VIP tickets, but they got us in AND into section one, fucking 8 rows back. i could see all of their facial expressions we were so close! oh my god it was just fucking phenomenal. i'm pretty sure that was the luckiest thing that's ever EVER happened to me. i kept thinking "wow.. there's not alot of people here" and then i would turn around and see the 19,000 people standing behind us and think "damn... i could be in the very very back but i'm standing 25 feet away from dave matthews right now." it was like we just skipped ahead about 200 rows. i thought i was dreaming! it was just amazing. i cant think of a word thats strong enough to describe the whole experience.
the down side was we couldn't find a vacant hotel ANYWHERE. so we ended up staying at one in clewiston. i know... clewiston. fuckin sweeeet right? kinda bummed because i was looking forward to going to west palm beach the next day but it was raining when we woke up so it wouldnt have worked out even if we did find a hotel there.
i still just can't get over it all. just way too good to be true. ha! =) =) =) best weekend ever
