That reading meme is weird

Feb 11, 2013 01:42

I was thinking about the Wednesday reading thing last night and I realized that I can go two ways with it. I can either just list what I'm reading and what I've just finished, or I can try to list everything I've read in the last week.

The latter would help me keep track except...see, I read really fast and I reread, so that's a lot of books. I didn't feel like gaming yesterday afternoon/last night because my head was iffy, so I settled in and started rereading Georgette Heyer. I read four books*. Now to be fair, Heyer's not a slow read to begin with and I read even faster when it's a re-read and also, we had pizza so there was no cooking or going out.

So, I'm curious. If you're doing a Wednesday Reading post, are you only listing what you're reading on Wednesday itself, or is it more like what you've read since last Wednesday? Do you count rereads? I mean, I know I can do whatever I want with it, I'm just curious.

Also, Sock did something fun after looking at AO3 tags. Metadata.

*If anyone's curious--"The Black Sheep," "Venetia," "The Convenient Marriage" and "Cotillion" (which is one of my favorites)
