1. Birthday! I got some books, the Lorac Pro eyeshadow palette (the number of eyeshadow palettes I have is ridiculous seeing as I wear makeup maybe once a week at best, but I love them so), a pair of earrings, a Memebox (I don't know which one because I asked for several), and apparently there are things that haven't gotten here yet. We're going to The Melting Pot for dinner tomorrow night instead of tonight.
2. My nails are glittery and shiny!
3. Today (okay, yesterday--August 8) was apparently World Cat Day. Which...yeah, no. Near as I can tell, every day is World Cat Day. Stupid Humans.
4. I wrote a schmoopy team fic!
(Not happy)
The Giants lost today, not because the other pitcher was having a good day or anything like that. We lost because we played like utter crap--three fucking errors and at one point we had runners at 1st and 3rd with no one out and we didn't score a single run*. We deserved to lose that fucking game, JFC. Also, in the tradition of playing hurt, Belt played on Wednesday even though he was dizzy and having a hard time focusing. To be fair, once he actually said something about it, they pulled him out of the game and then put him right back on the DL, but still.
*for the Non Baseball People in the audience, that's bad fucking ball.
