Daily happiness
1. The Giants lost this evening, but they reactivated one of our key players off the DL (back problems) and he had a good game. Also, our bb rookie catcher is turning out to be pretty good. He'll be heading back down to AAA when we get our regular backup catcher off the 7 day concussion DL, but it was nice to see him up in the majors for a little while.
2. I didn't write today, but I made more progress on my current cross-stitch project.
3. I got my Julep Maven box (nail polish/beauty products subscription box) this morning. It was fun to get it, but I think I'm gonna drop the subscription. All three polishes I picked this month were nice, but I'm pretty sure they're dupes of stuff I already have. Unless next month's colors wow me, I think I'm done.
4. I recently splurged and bought a new iPod touch. The one annoying thing about it is that my alarm clock/speakers/docking station is set up for 30 pin and the new iPod has the lightning connection. Most of the possible replacements don't work with a thicker case. My old iPod had just a thin hard case, but I'm getting a better case for this one. So I bought a cute little bluetooth speaker. It got here today and I'm really pleased with it. Also, it's fun to get packages.
