So this guy gets his Stradivarius cello stolen. It got stolen 'cause he accidentally left it on his front porch, and some guy took it and ran off with it on his bicycle.
They got it back.
But the thing that made me hyperventilate and go EEEEEEP and wide eyed and ACK and clutch at my heart was that the guy that stole it was going to cut it in half and use it to hold his CDs.
Holy shit.
(The thing is worth three and a half million dollars, for those of you who don't really know your Stradivarius cellos/violins.)
But it's not the price. It's the instrument. It's a STRADIVARIUS. They're not exactly replaceable.
How do you own a Stradivarius and "accidentally leave it on your porch"? This is what I want to know.
