surprise! a post.

I got home from youth group a little while ago, and Matt's sermon (about reading the Bible) brought to mind something I saw on tv a couple of days ago. It was a talk show, and the guest was a Christian author. She was explaining how one day her pastor's sermon was on reading the Bible, and she said that the Bible says you should have the desire to read it. That you acheive that desire by, well, forcing yourself to read some everyday. Eventually you just want to -- just need to. Now, that really made me feel better. I've never had that desire. Reading the Bible has always seemed like such a daunting task to me. It all kinda gave me a feeling of motivation.

I learned the not reading the Bible is a sin, since God wants you to read it.
(There are two types of sin -- what you do, and what you don't do.)
And, just for my own note, the definition of sin is "going contrary to the nature of God."

Pokemon was also mentioned today, and that got me thinking about fourth grade, and how that the thing for guys to do in my class. That was the best class ever. We were such...grown-up little people sometimes. I came to Pa after that nation-wide phenomenon, but did you guys go through it? Was there secretive trading going on behind the teacher's back? How long did it last?

I've also been pretty worried about school lately. I've been thinking about doing the 3-yr, 18 credit high school diploma, but that means I'd have one heck of a last year. Ideally, 6 AICE (a British AP) classes (one being independant study), 1.5 honors classes online, and Honors English 4, which means I would have to complete my senior project this year as well. Man oh man. What do you think? (If you read this post, I want a comment from you, whoever you are.)

Why am I even considering such a thing, you ask? Well, I'm moving to **a** at the end of this school year. I don't want to have to start over for the THIRD time.

I have to speak with the admissions guy at UM. I think the only way I'd go through with such a gruesome, burn-out schedule would be if they gave me one heck of a scholarship. They did offer my cousin a fully paid, 6-yr one a few years back.

My other choice would be to take my 6 AICE classes this year (and, by the way, b/c I'm moving, I can't receive my official AICE diploma unless I graduate from an AICE-accredited school. Nice.) and dual enroll at MDCC my senior year. I have to make some calls to FIU and UM first.

I'm really, really tired now.

Pray.
