Thank yeeeoooouuuugh. I've added a couple of goodies along with the Turkey Monkey - for educational reasons of course.

I'm not sending them because I feel that I owe you something for your superb mix CDs. Actually, I like sharing the audible bounty with fellow geeks. :D

Heh, cool! That is good, then!

BTW, I figure you might be someone good to ask what with your username and all; the Gary Numan era I'm the most fond of is the Tubeway Army stuff, but I like basically all of it. The new stuff is pretty cool too; the only stuff I'm not quite as into is the sorta Middle Period stuff (the stuff on Disconnection if you've seen that compilation); anyway, last time I was at Everyday Music, I saw copies of "I, Assassin" and "Telekon" -- I'll probably end up buying them anyway, but, like, how Essential are those records? Are they The Awesome, or just good? (I would kinda assume at least Telekon is the former, what with... yeah.)

I actually prefer I, Assassin over Telekon, oddly enough. Telekon is in the style of The Pleasure Principle. It doesn't rock like Replicas at all. It's like a toned-down-with-extra-brooding-over-oneself The Pleasure Principle. I, Assassin is more funky with the fretless bass and saxophones. It also sounds a bit warmer. I don't own Dance, so I don't know how much it resembles I, Assassin. You can't go wrong with either one, though. I'd say I, Assassin is more essential than Telekon, but it's more in that "really nice to have" category.

Numan's "Janet Jackson" phase is a scary one indeed. :D
