You have to admire a company like starbucks.
In the face of all the carb-obsessed depravation diets they give a big fuck you to everyone and show their support of America's Obesity Epidemic.

I had to laugh. Starbucks has made their fortune on banking on people's need to have trendy everything (down to their drinks)... and charging that extra $2 per mocha for the label on the cup alone...
And now they have enough of a customer base to keep fat-laden bearclaws and gigantic chocolate tortes moving over the counter. Mmmmmmm
I am so amused. While companies like Hostess are struggling financially because of what they claim the low-carb crazes are doing to their twinkie sales (Personally I think people are finally wising up to what their diets consist of), Starbucks keeps on keeping on with the same goodies. Has anyone ever seen low-carb anything at a starbucks? I'm curious...
This was my little amusement for the day.
And last night I reapplied for some government money to help pay my living expenses while in grad school and *gasp* they now let me file independently. Which means all aid I receive will be based on my meager income alone (halleluah!)
This means I could potentially get a big chunk of my living expenses for the next two years covered.
Today is another commute day at work. In the office. Out of the office. I think I'm going to work it so I can stay at home a lot more with the laptop. Yes.
