Dazzle Ships

I've just been reading the liner notes for the reissue of Dazzle Ships, and found out that Peter Saville came up with the name so he could base the artwork on this lovely painting by Edward Wadsworth.

A Dazzle Ship was a boat from World War 1 which had crazy patterns on it so the enemy couldn't work out how big it was or how far away it was either. There's something kinda cute about it.
