Rocked the Yoga. My arms were pretty damn sore but it turned out that I didn't even feel it through the workout. I guess Yoga was just working my arms in different ways than what had made them sore. Passed out hard after Yoga (and forgot my recovery drink >.<)
I felt kinda let down during Legs and Back cause I wasn't making huge improvements, but I tried to keep in mind that I've been making slow, steady improvements for the last 9 weeks on it. I too decided to kick ass on that first set of chinups (even though it was only 1 better than last time I did it). I think last time I'd had my NO drink beforehand though, cause this time every rep past 15 was pretty intense. Was dead beat while doing abs.
My legs were starting to feel sore from the previous day, so my Kenpo felt kind of slowed down, but after I warmed up, things fell into place. Still my least favorite exercise, but I'll deal.
I'd like to do the stretch today, but my legs are incredibly sore and I'm just really tired. Think I'll call it a day and make this a good solid rest day.
I watched the Ab Ripper X+ video over the weekend. I am simultaneously excited and terrified. Think I might apply for work doing the graveyard shift at a local gym to help pull myself out of debt. I'm sure it'll mess with my workouts a bit, but I'll adapt. Tekis were built to adapt.
