so I'm fairly happy because every possible hurdle imagineable in my finding of a work experience placement literally just got torched with a giant FUCK YOU when someone ACTUALLY just canceled their placement on Friday morning. To Norbrook. A pharmaceutical lab.
cue me nearly crying in happiness, thinking I was going to spend a week at school in study while everyone else was away
I was really worried about getting to the damn place. It just looks like I'm going to have to get a lot of buses and taxis. But I was talking to the security guard of the factory I'm going to over the phone asking for transport advice and he was so nice, he said he'd look after me once I was there lol. And he said that lots of people who work there live in my town! So it may be possible to get a lift with a particularly nice worker. Here's hopin'! I'm scared of ending up in the middle of Mexico when it comes to buses.
Now I'm wondering what they're going to have me do! Hmmm. My friend is off to France for her experience so I hope she has fun there too. 8) haha I'm kinda looking forward to this now. Even though I'm working from 9 to 5.30 every day. I'm gonna be sleeping like a rock... have a wee diary to write to say what I do each day too, but I'll put little updates on here too! I think know rebbe has an interest in chemistry so maybe you'll like to see that? 8D eeeee I'm ever so slightly excited for this
On a random note, I got a random free £20 credit added to my phone whenever I got £10 put on it. While nice, I am never going to spend it all. I'm the worst phone user on the planet.
