Warm, sunny with 100% chance of sand and surf.

So far, the beach has been absolutely fantastic.  I've avoided the sunburn that I got last year, and the kids are having a ball.  Kate and Rob have been having a grand time building the great wall of Florida on the beach with their cousins, and Kate found a girl about her age to go catch jelly fish with when building sand forts gets old.  Admittedly, the week got off to a rocky start, as I found out on the way to the funeral that I was a pallbearer, but I managed to muddle through.  The service was nice, and afterwards, the whole family got together and told stories about Oma.  It was as good a send off as one can get.  The rest of the week will be relaxing, eating too much, sleeping in, napping, swimming and the occasional beer.  No particular order to it.  Just whatever we want to do whenever we want to do it.  I need about a month like this.  I did bring my camera, but forgot the cable for attaching it to the computer, so pics will have to wait until I get back.  I'll try to get some good ones for you folks.  In the meantime, there's a beach chair and a Blue Moon calling my name, so I'm out.
